About the role:

The Modeling Manager leads the LenddoEFL Modeling team. This role coordinates team activities and is responsible for modeling outputs. The Manager will design scalable big data pipeline/workflows for behavioral and social algorithms, and provide the Risk & Analytics team client-facing deliverables.



  • Review and analyze client and external data sets.

  • Manage and execute model development cycle & incremental model updates

  • Build improvements into our modeling processes and techniques

  • Deploy and integrate LenddoEFL's solutions in clients’ environments along with the Technology team

  • Establish and implement the risk frameworks including design variables and scorecards

  • Evaluate non-traditional sources of data to include in the LenddoEFL platform.

  • Educate customers risk teams on the LenddoEFL solutions and methodologies (including coordination of Workshops, Webinars and White papers development).

  • Help to Identify, recruit, and nurture future modeling and analytics talent.




  • Advanced degrees in Applied Math, Statistics, Actuarial Science, Engineering or equivalent

  • 5+ years of job experience with statistical modeling with a focus on credit risk

  • Exceptional problem solving and critical thinking skills. Detail oriented.

  • Good communication skills; prefer candidates who have experience of presenting technical concepts and results to risk and business teams.

  • Required: Experience with statistical techniques and tools in python, R or similar.


  • Experience in a wide range of numerical and statistical modeling, including pattern recognition, and machine learning.


Location: We are open to candidates located across Latin America with a preference for candidates located in Buenos Aires.
