We’re looking for a dynamic Brand Marketing Director to join us and help build an enduring mobile classifieds brand across the countries & verticals we operate in. If you love the challenge of building a brand as a competitive business advantage, read on!


Build the company’s brand strategy & architecture, ensuring we are loved by our target audience and we are strategically positioned for general classifieds as well as for the verticals (e.g. cars, services)
Alongside country teams, develop approaches to build a brand that generates business impact in terms of brand love/NPS, user, listings and transactions growth
Work through influence across teams and stakeholders to ensure the Carousell brand is cohesive and compelling to both the Carousell employees and the Carousell community
Build the Carousell brand to become a competitive differentiation factor
Run and analyse market research to understand brand health and develop recommendations
Act as the subject matter expert on our brand position, informed by user insights and understanding of the competitive landscape.
Work alongside country leads or vertical leads for specific marketing campaigns where necessary to deliver successful outcomes for the campaigns. Acting as both coach and consultant to the country teams.


8-10 years experience in consumer marketing and brand management
Experience running qualitative and quantitative market research
Experience working with multi-country organisations and delivering impact through influence
Excellent communication skills . You’re able to deliver complex user insights in a concise and simple manner, both in written and verbal form
You have proven ability to work at both strategic and tactical level and you're not afraid to dive into details and execute.
Experience working in startup-like environments. Marketplace, ecommerce industry experience is a plus.
