Operations Manager at Xendit

As the Operations Manager at Xendit, you will use your operational and management expertise to make decisions quickly and ensure smooth experiences for our customers. Your team will face some of the most complex and dynamic challenges at Xendit, and you will use data and creativity to guide the team in helping us scale effectively.

You are expected to excel at handling ambiguity and to execute quickly. You know what it is like to start something from scratch, grow it structurally and methodically.

Responsibilities

Handle the day to day operations of Xendit
Fight fires under immense stress: customer requests/issues come in suddenly and affect their payments, so have to be fixed with limited resources in short amounts of time with customers breathing down our throats
Build our SOPs: constantly improve and build SOPs to guide our organisation
Lead Operations so it accelerates our growth trajectory
Automate operations: triage problems, fight for resources to fix and ensure that operations becomes more reliable and less painful over time
Make data-based decisions: cultivate a metrics-driven approach to solving problems and deciding what to focus on.
Directly manage a new team: set clear goals, provide feedback, develop team, hire and fire.

Bachelors degree from a top university; fluent in spoken and written English and Bahasa Indonesia
You can make magic with limited resources: you quickly understand all our systems at your disposal, when the crisis calls can command these tools to assemble fast solutions for customers
