Regional Talent Development Manager at Funding Societies

As Funding Societies | Modalku continues our exponential growth and transformation as the leading P2P Fintech platform in SEA, our talent management function is critical in providing strategic interventions in our people development area to ensure that we attract and retain the best talent.

The Regional Talent Development Manager is responsible for the design, contextualisation and execution of assigned programs within the Talent & Learning portfolio, ensuring all programme deliverables are completed in a high quality and timely manner. Provide expertise, consultation, and support for talent management and other initiatives that impact organizational performance and the supply of future-ready leaders for Funding Societies | Modalku. Assist with streamlining, automation, enablement and talent analytics initiatives.

Possessing a growth mindset, passion for people, and business acumen coupled with strong analytical skills are crucial for success in this role.

Job Responsibilities

  • Build and advise learning policy with a good understanding of learning models and taxonomies

  • Work with agencies to secure grants for T&L initiatives 
  • Drive and support critical and strategic T&L programs, KPIs, analytics, data consolidation and reporting, ensuring high quality and on time delivery

  • Build strategies and action plans to support programs within the Talent Management portfolio
    (including working alongside performance management, succession planning, assessments and Hi-Po development)

  • Drive regional stakeholder collaborations to scale programs
    (through communication, forums, best practice sharing, tools, templates, etc.)

  • Develop programme communication artifacts (ppt/reports) that support program communication and reporting to stakeholders

  • Partner with stakeholders to drive continuous improvement in our processes, including automation and driving meaningful metrics and analytics

  • Be a think tank partner to recommend and prioritise learning needs of teams and demographics in relation to the broader business context

Qualifications / Requirements 

  • 5+ years of experience executing and measuring talent management strategies and programmes 

  • In-house experience is a must (policy creation/frameworks/taxonomies/vendor management/analytics and reporting)
  • Additional start-up experience preferred
  • Bachelor’s in business, management, HR or organization development required

  • Knowledge of current research and best practices related to performance management, succession management, assessments and Hi-Po development

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a demonstrated ability to analyze trends, best practices, and data to influence talent strategy and roadmap

  • Demonstrated ability to clearly identify meaningful business impact and success metrics for talent solutions, and proven track record of analyzing and reporting on outcomes in a practical and scalable manner

  • Highly consultative approach and a proven track record of effective collaboration and influence at all levels of an organization

  • Possesses excellent presentation, communication, interpersonal and stakeholder enablement skills

  • Strong project management and implementation skills with attention to detail

  • Ability to work creatively in a fast-paced environment maintaining flexibility through changing priorities and demanding timelines

  • Ability to work proactively and autonomously, with little direction, and willingness to assist with a variety of projects

  • Proficient in Keynote/Powerpoint slide design for communicating content & ideas, facilitating smooth topic transitions in presentations
