Our team of Geckos started in our HQ in Singapore almost 6 years and and since then we have opened offices in Philippines and Toronto. Our Toronto Office is based on vibrant King West.

 

The Account Executive role is an opportunity to become the subject matter expert on our customer, company and the culture of selling. In this role you will be passed qualified leads from our sales development team and you are responsible for closing them them into paying customers.

 

In order to succeed in this role you will need to be tenacious, tech savvy, and have a thirst for knowledge. You will work closely with our customers to understand their business objectives and act as their trusted guide for using TradeGecko most effectively.

REQUIREMENTS

As an Account Executive you will:

  • Qualify and close new business from inbound leads
  • Educate small to medium sized businesses on the value of TradeGecko in a thoughtful way
  • Research accounts, identify key players, gather usage requirements, generate interest and obtain business requirements to recommend a plan
  • Run live product demos, design successful follow-up sequences, and negotiate contracts, to secure new business partners
  • Collaborate with the Sales Development Representatives (SDRs) to support the customer journey and growth of the sales team
  • Continuous improvement to become the best business advisors to our customers
  • Execute our sales process diligently and keep great notes in our CRM system
  • Provide a voice for our customers by passing feedback from customers back to the Product team so that we can improve our service and products

What you bring to TradeGecko

  • Degree or similar (required)
  • 2-4 years of sales experience (preferably in SaaS)
  • You are competitive and driven to achieve goals
  • Proven track record of success in a Sales environment
  • You are articulate and poised with a clear and concise spoken and written communication style (phone and email)
  • You have a consistent track record of identifying customer needs and successfully implementing solutions
